Normal body temperature is between 36.5 degC and 37.5degC.
Febrile Convulsions are common. This is when a child has a seizure when they have a high temperature (over 38 degC), usually as a result of an infection. Most refbrile siezures occur between the ages of 6 months and 3 years.
Although terrifying for parents and carers, most febrile siezures are harmless and stop by themselves.
